“the Elements of Astronomy”

Janet Kuypers was the final feature scheduled at Perla Café in Evanston IL August 24th 2012 (8/25/12, or 20120825)... Because it is Kuypers’ intention with all pre-scheduled features in 2012 to contain material from poetry of hers in “the Periodic Table of Poetry” (where she is writing a poem for every element in the Periodic Table), this collection of poems (which happened to be in the day astron aut and first moon walker Neil Armstrong passed away) all related to astronomy, in her show “the Elements of Astronomy”...
These edited poems (all shorter than the original poems, to appear together in this show) were also placed into a PDF file “the Elements of Astronomychapbook that you can download any time for free.

Two more edited “Periodic Table of Poetry” poems were cut from the final perfomance (“Argon” and “Krypton”). Despite this, she received compliments on her material from two people — including one woman who actually walked to Kuypers’ car to compliment her on her work (especially “Uranium”).
