 the 2010 Poetry Bomb (this outdoor day of taking poetry to the streets, sponsored by the folks at Waiting 4 the Bus) was slated for performances on Aprl 18th 2010. Janet Kuypers was asked to do a reading outside of Chicago, so she opted to perform outdoors north of Chicago, at the Independence Grove forest preserve in Lake County.
Independence Grove is a free forest preserve (with free parking for anyone from Lake County, though it is possible, if driving to Independence Grove forest preserve, to park for free outside the forest preserve). The location for the outdoors poetry reading is at the Millennia Plaza - which can be found by going straign after entering the Independence Grove forest preserve (see the map for the Independence Grove forest preserve to see via red stars, where the poetry readings are scheduled to take place).Information for other activities and directions are available at the Lake County Forest Preserve web site.
